Is Going North
pERHAPS one of the most well L known and popular figures m Wellington is that of Gordon Jardine, that tall, reticent chap who held down the managerial position of that house of- mirth, His Majesty's Theatre.. Verbosity is not a/characteHstic of his, but when G.J. does voice an opinion on any subject there is a wealth of, thought and reasoning behind it.Still a comparatively young man as years go, Jardine has prospered exceedingly along the road of life. He entered the race for existence 1 through the portals of a commercial office, but he subsequently took over the house manager's position with Fullers m the capital city, an appointment he has held down for the past three years. Habitues of Fullers, however, will shortly miss him, for m the course of a week or two he is packing his grip and journeying to Auckland where he will act m the caipacity of manager for the Regent picture theatre there. Wellington's loss will be Auckland's gain, for it would be hard to meet a more likeable and genial fellow than. Gordon Jardine. . i
