THE zipping and roaring of open ex- , ■ hausts'lias been barred m the wisdom of .th'ie civic heads, but this will neither detract from the spectacular, of the sport nor the speed of the acesi The thrills will come on the bends when motors' travelling about forty miles an hour will skid round the wellgreased bends, broadside on to the track. "'.'.. '".-.. It is on the beryls that tactics come* into play, and the two brilliant 'Aussie aces will find, that Jack. Arnott,' Billy Allen, Tui Morgan and Wally Kilminster are just as adept as they. are. "Broadsiding" has taken tiie : .public fancy all over the world and there 'is
no reason at all why it should not tickle the fancy of Wellington fans. When "Gus" Clifton rolls his machine out of the pits the sensations should start.
