Wanganui Will Try Again

THE Wanganui Trotting Club has had a bad run for some years, and it was thought it would throw m its permit. However, it has been decided to give it another go, and a meeting is to be held on April 11 and 13. t Last year the Wanganui meeting was held before the Hawera and Taranaki fixtures, but this year it will follow them. "Hopes are entertained that the change will be to the benefit of the club. Every effort is to be made to give the sport of' trotting a big boost m Wanganui thig season. The programme will be similar to that of last year. The' meeting will be held on. the Wanganui racecourse.
