Portrait Pest
A CORRESPONDENT writes to " . "N.Z. Truth" from Havelock North about portrait salesmen. "\ made good use of your article re portrait salesmen last Saturday," says the writer. "One of the pests was worrying my daughter just the same as you described. I came along, found page 3 of 'Truth' and stuck it m front of him, asking: 'Have you read, this?' "I told- him to 'get,' which he did. .; " 'Truth' was more effective than a gun. He went like a whipped dog."
