HE GETS THERE
Winning Way At Hpme SHAW'S SUCCESS (From "N.Z. Truth's" Auckland Rep.) When "Truth" suggested that there was no place like home so far as J. Shaw was concerned, it was not far from the mark. pARRYING the silks' on six occasions last Saturday, Shaw steered home three winners and a third. This brings his winning driving record up to sixteen, and so far as the winning trainers' schedule is concerned he, now has credit. to the tune of fifteen. That is, up to last Saturday's racing, and it can be predicted that before the season closes some more Avill come his way.
