WC'BILL"): CUNNINGHAM, or • rather Colonel W. Cunningham, Crown Prosecutor, of Wanganui, is shortly to fold up his tent and depart for the Empire City to , join A. J. Luke, solicitor, m partnership. He will be greatly missed m the River City. For years past he has taken the keenest interest m matters military. He saw many years of active service during the Great War., and on his return was appointed colonel of the WellingtonrWest Coast Regiment. Some three years ago he was given command of the Hawkes Bay Regiment, which office he still retains and will continue to do so, , He was also a live spark m the R.S.A., but it gradually fizzled out m Wanganui, and the club rooms were closed. As Crown Prosecutor he has never been known to do other than give a square deal to the man m the dock.
