Has One Desire
A SUCCESSFUL business concern is generally known by its head. The prestige of the one is but a rejection of the integrity of the other. In associating business men and methods, one naturally thinks of R. E. Selby, the live-wire general secretary of the Wellington Commercial Travellers' and Warehousemen's Association. R.E.S. has been m his present job for a number of years now, and part of the sound prosperity of this huge organisation is . due to his untiring energy and successful spade work. If Selby has been largely responsible for the present position of the association, it has only been because of- his untiring energy and perseverance. One of his main objects m life at the present time is to see the new C.T. and W.A. premises on the way. .Apart from boosting along. the affairs of the association, Selby, like the rest of his "C.T.-'' .brethren, finds time periodically to interest himself m those ; impromptu burlesques that raise funds : for the poor and needy.
