THOMAS MOCKFORD evidently believes in' letting things take their own course. On two.occasions at the Dunedin Maintenance Court, when his name has been called m connection with the claim of a I simple girl who now knows the wonders of motherhood, Tom has been missing. On the last occasion Mr. Claude White asked Mr. Bundle, S.M., to map out Mockford's future interests m the child of which previously he was adjudged the father. Tom not being present, things took their own course, and besides attending to an order for 15/- a week, he now has to settle up with maternity and other expenses amounting to well over twenty notes. lllllllltlllllllllllMllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll'
