They should be soaked m a covered vessel for about 12 hours and then rinsed m several waters. # # # , New bread will always cut easier if the knife is dipped m hot water. # # * An excellent thing for freckles, tan or sunburn is the white of one egg and a little lemon juice. Shake well and to a tumblerful of this mixture add 1 teaspoonful of borax. # * ♦ To get long wear out of silk hosiery it should be changed daily and washed inside out m luke warm suds of pure soap.
