AUCKLAND has lost for the time ** being one well-known and popular personality with the departure of "Trixie" Budd, who after her marriage with "Tom" Vernon still continued to carry out her duties with Hayward's Pictures under her maiden name. If ever a woman had "it," that woman was the bright and versatile "Trixie," and m setting put on her world jaunt with her husband, she has gone one step nearer her life's ambition, which is to see every part of this old planet, and gather honey m the way of knowledge of things m general first hand. Such knowledge it is safe to say will not be wasted on her, for she has both eyes wide open, and ■■•an be trusted to retain vivid impressions of what she sees' and hears.
