THIS year conditions will be altogeth- ■*■ er different. The bright star Aussie will be there and this means that there will be a race. Then the field will most likely include the two three-year-olds,. Nightmarch, the Derby winner, and Silver Paper. Rapier, with Charlie Emerson aboard, will also 'be there to dis-. pute the issue. The presence of the- three-year-olds will ensure a lively "pace over the first half-mile. . Rapier, if at his best, would be sure to take a hand m the finish. He has not had a race since the New Zealand Cup meeting, but has done a good deal of work lately. A run m the Publicans' on the first day would sharpen him up for the bigger job on the second day. Chief interest, however, will centre on the meeting of Aussie and Limerick. Punters will have to lay long odds on H. A. Knight's champion. •
