THERE is a half-brother to Master Doon racing up north at , - present which should come good later on. He. is a three-year-old gelding named- Prince of Orange, by Valkyrian — Lassie Doon, and hails from the same stable which shelt-ers-Transformer. Prince of Orange finished no nearer than sixth m the Trial of opening day at Takapuna after running wide at the turn. If he does not break his maiden status before' the season ends, then viewing his display m the Trial of Saturday last will have proved so much time lost.
