EGMONT, GISBORNE AND TARANAKI NOW COMMAND ATTENTION

HE IS VERY KEEN

Trainer Stone Wants Supremacy To Meet Honour PUBLIC LOOK FOR CLASH (From "N.Z. Truth's" Special Auckland Representative). The confidence of Supremacy 's trainer has not shaken one iota by the victory of Honour at Trentham.

IN fact, when questioned by "Truth" at Takapuna on the matter of the

proposed match, Bill Stone was more eager than ever to tackle Greenwood's colt m a real test.

He goes one better than the initial suggestion by offering to increase the £500 to £1000 and .also allow the Canterbury owner £ 100 for exes, if Honour is brought north for a clash with Supremacy.

No doubt the match could be arranged for the opening day of the Avondale fixture if thq Honour party is willing.

This latest suggestion from Trainer Bill Stone practically means that the Supremacy connections are prepared to risk £1100 to win £900.

If the pair do chance to meet m a match to decide which is entitled to being classed the crack juvenile, the betting public would probably follow Honour.

All the sporting world hopes, is that the match will eventuate, though of course doubts are expressed on the point.
