Eastward Ho!

IT is only a matter of a week or so since the staff of Messrs. Beath and Go., Ltd., Christchurch, said farewell to their popular chief and general 4 manager, Chas. Ogilvie, who has started on a world tour and whose first port of call is somewhere m China.. Ogilvie is one of those, men who, when they are away, are really missed. But business is business, and so the house of Beaths has perforce to do without its manager for a while at any rate. We do riot- know if . there are any golf courses m the East. Presumably there are, or otherwise the East might not have seen Ogilvie. He's one of those rare golfers who do not forget that golf is but a mental recreation and not an obsession. May he enjoy his trip.
