Good Mixer
\TOTHING makes the average man a IN better mixer than having graduated m the hard school of the world, which is out on its own for knocking off the sharp corners of prejudice and narrow-mindedness, and it is for this reason probably, that Louis Kelleher, of Auckland, is a first- class mixer m more ways than one. After several years of globe-trotting aboard ships which breasted the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, Kelleher, who can boast a robust outlook on life, decided it was time to settle down to some definite line of occupation, and he wisely entered the tobacco business m the ■ Minores, London, within the sight of ships and spars, and concentrated on the subtle art of blending the fragrant weed and learning all there was to be learnt about it. That knowledge has stood him m good stead, and not only himself but all those who have a fastidious, even if economical taste at times, for man's peace-bestowing solace, be it the product of Turkey, Virginia, or any other weed-growing country. Kelleher's life is almost entirely occupied m the. art of- mixing, or blending, and finding out innumerable combinations to suit the palate of every smoker, be lie rich or poor connoisseur or novice, and he brings into his everyday life that personal touch which at one time was as much the custom as it is rare to-day, with pleasing results to both parties. Thanks to his expertness, there are many who have developed quite an unthought of appreciation of the charm of the soothing weed.
