The Seasons
CROM time to time correspondr ents write to "Interpreter" enquiring for information relative to the four seasons of the year. For the benefit of readers this is given below. Ordinarily, summer commences on November . 1, but meteorologically the first day of summer is December 1. . This alters the seasons to: Summer— December, January, February; Autumn — March, April, May; Winter— June,. July, August; Spring — September, October, November.
