Special excursion tickets, available until 28th January, will be obtainable from stations Palmerston NorthPukerua Bay to Thorndon by trains leaving Palmerston 6.58 a.m., Paekaka-i-iki 6.10, 7.23, 9.44 a.m. on 22nd, 24th and 26th January; from Masterton, Greytown, Mangaroa, and intermediate stations, to Lambton and Trentham, by morning trains on each race day. Special excursion tickets to Lambton will be available for break of journey at Trentham. Return fares to Wellington from Palmerston North (Ist and 2nd class), 16/11, 11/6; Otaki, 9/3, 6/4; Masterton. 12/11, 8/10; Featherston, 8/11, 6/1. To Trentham from Masterton, 9/6. 6/6; from Featherston, 5/8, 3/9. On 22nd, 24th and 26th January, I special return tickets to Trentham, including admission to Rapecsarse and available for use on day of issue only, will be obtainable at Wellington (Lambton), Kaiwarra, Ngahauranga, Petone and Lower Hutt. Fares— Carriages, 6s 6d., seated wagons 4s. 6d. These tickets will also be obtainable by morning trains on the Manawatu Line.
