W lines on the neck W ■as a man fears tigers. 1 And lines .on. the --heck f are to be feared, be- ? cause m nine cases out of ten they mean the stealthy approach of old age. There are' many ways of. counteracting the effects of time, upon the neck.' Just one of them is to sleep nt night, on one ;yery low pillow _pr : without any at all. ' This: will have a' beneficial .effect on the health, as well, as i keeping the neck firm. . . Sallow nee k s can be dealt with by the application of much soap and water' — super- ' latted soap and dead cold water— and the lather we , . use on our backs. Necks are not really washed enough, and though . a very, good argument against this is that we cannot; be continually disrobing 1 during the day— life being what it is — still ; the lather ■ and cold water treatment can be applied night and morning. ; * ; v
Before washing with the cold water,, use a , cleansing cream on the neck, as just cold' water won't remove the grime. . For the recalcitrant chin a chin strap is the best remedy, after you have washed and patted said ; chin for a while with vinegar jejly. Pat the chin gently with an upward, stroke, and twist the neck back, turning it from side to side, and., stretching all the time. • The. rubber strap heads the list of chin straps, although . all soi'ts -of. decorative affairs are being sold m the shops.
