A Word To The Stipes!

THE stipes were certainly active at the Claudelands trots on Saturday, and m some cases they asked a few questions. But did they complete their jobs? There was one race which puzzled backers sorely and there was one horse m the same race which aggravated the punters more. The event m question was the Hamilton Trot. Had the stipes done their job properly and completed their inquiries, they would have reviewed the Hamilton Trot and the reviewing of one horse m particular. They did not worry, however. Perhaps the axe will fall at the Auckland meeting? A win to the horse concerned on any day during the meeting would certainly merit attention m view of recent efforts. iiiiiiiiiliiiiii'i^
