WAS STIFF

Not Trustworthy On Saturday (From "N.Z. Truth's" Auckland Rep.) Trustworthy was a hot-pot m, the President's and his backers were stiff. CHE cleared out m the preliminary after taking fright at the motorcars parked m an adjoining paddock and crashed into a trestle. She appeared O.K. when lined up at the barrier, but was evidently unsettled and left at a break. Losing anything up to a hundred yards, her case looked hopeless, but once into her stride she began to chase Bell Dial and' Lackiewood and actually had her nose m front at the home bend. The effort cost her too much on top of her escapade, for Bell Dial and Lackiewood both beat her to the judge. Trustworthy will keep and later on it looks a certainty that she will make amends.
