"Truth" was satisfied, and, m making it known to supporters of Partial Eclipse, they can rest assured they were not "jinked" out of one penny Nevertheless, there was justification for the. questioning, and it. Is I . to be j hoped that m future the final figures will be found absolutely m order before the starting signal is given. Such is due to the racing public at all times. . It will be against racing if grounds for suspicion are left because of out-pf-aate machinery or hurried'carelessness m the final checking of the figures.
