Ltd., held m Melbourne last^month revealed big Increases m new business atid premium income, hew and renewal. Notwithstanding the fact that many businesses had been seriously affected by the great financial depression experienced m Australia arid New Zealand, T,he Southern Cross Assurance Co., Ltd., has foot only shown increases on previous years, but has extended . its activities. During the year the expenses of management showed a slight reduction. '. From its inception, eight years ago, the progress of the Southern Cross Assurance Co.. Ltd., has been simply meteoric.
