Mills arid Postles opened, and within an hour of Suburbs' commencement it was clear that the game was theirs. 1 Postles went out to a catch by McClaren from Martin's ball, but he had then knocked up 31 over his century, and Mills followed with, a- total of 80. ■ North Shore managed: to get home on a first innings lead of 15 runs, V.M.C.A. having succeeded m gaining only four winknts for 37.
