Form of the Horses With A View To Future Trotting Meetings (By "The Toff.") The Christmas trotting meetings m the north and the south are approaching apace, and form at Hutt Park last Saturday will be a good guide for punters.

•THE three-year-old, Hinkler, is a 1 classy pacer and one worth jotting down for future reference. He is a half-brother to Rose Marie. Rollo contracted a cold on the eve of the Wellington meeting and could not fulfil his engagement. Rafa is a genuine young- pacer that can be pegged off for Christmas meetings. Security has a lot of speed, but at present a mile is as far as she can go. Kitty Patch won at Wellington because she went an honest race. Keep an eye on Great Logan. He won the Railway Handicap with a good deal m hand. His was a soft victory. Zella is an improved mare. She nearly was carted off the course with a i-ound to go m the Railway Handicap and then was with the leading bunch at the bend for home. Athalone is a good deal better than most people think. He came from the clouds m the Railway Handicap to finish third. And the speed was on all the way. Nancy Bingen is a speedy mare

and will win a race or two among the wax-work trotters that are m evidence. Real Light showed what a good horse he is by the resolute manner m which he won the Middle Class Handicap. He is a real stayer and promises to add to his stake-earnings before the season is concluded. He is m at Forbury. ' Dilworth is a high-class three-year-old and ' if everything goes right with her she will take part m New Zealand Trotting Cup company before she leaves the race-track. Marshal Neil led all the way m the Sharpe Handicap and left a nasty taste m the mouths of the opposition whose only privilege was that of battling out second money. Logan Park was a certainty beaten m the Electric Handicap. He went to a break at the start and lost fully a hundred yards. He dashed into third place with five furlongs to go and when it came to the straight, "Tomkey" set him at it, but Audacious squeezed home by a head. . It was a wonderful performance on the part of Logan Park.
