Numerous inquiries have been made by "Truth" readers m regard to the actual facts surrounding the ' amalgamation of the Chrysler arid Dodge concerns, the cables from . America on the, subject being somewhat vague. . ; 'r ' THE facts, briefly, are that Walter Pi Chrysler has assumed the position of ' president of Dodge, Brothers Corporation, and the Chrysler Corporation will continue to manufacture Dodge cars m its newly-acquired properties. Dodge" cars will continue to be sold by Dodge Broth«r« Corporation through the Dodge Dealer organization. Recently W. P. Chrysler issued a remarkable statement to all owners of Dodge cars, past, present,, and future. Bte said: "In acquiring Dodge Brothers, Incorporated, for. the Chrysler Corporation, , we' have secured one of the largest and most modern automobile factories m the world, and with it an organization of exceptional ability. . "We have secured, moreover, that which transcends m Importance either Dodge Brothers' superb plant equipment or Dodge Brothers' splendid dealer-organization. For we have become the lawful inheri- . tors of Dodge Brothers' good name, with all the solemn obligations which that inheritance implies. "The priceless identity of all Dod&e Brothers products -will be preserved. Dodge Brothers' works ■ will cpntinue to produce Dodge Brothers' motor-cars and Graham Brothers' . commercial vehicles. Dodge Brothers' dealers will continue to sell and service them." "The men to whose capable support the success of the Chrysler Corporation is due, unite with me m pledging the perpetuation of Dodge Brothers' ideals to the end that a good name may be made still better."
