OTII/L, there is no doubting the fact that the operation performed some time back on the son of Quin Abbey has worked wonders with him regarding his staying .ability. Hannon's nag has now won three hurdle races on end. It would seem that he is due for victory m an improved class up to at least one and three-quarter miles. There was some dash m his jumping efforts and though the fences at Kensington Park are not really hard to negotiate they gave trouble to some of Ripon Abbey's opponents. However, they did not the least little bit hamper Ripon Abbey. ■ He fairly took them m his stride and registered two clean-cut successes.
