By • making, a plaything of a cheque-book,' Mclntosh is now experiencing his second dose of reformative detention as imposed upon, him by Magistrate Bartholomew at the . Dunedin Police Court. In January, 1926, Mclntosh was released from a term of reformative treatment, and shortly afterwards obtained employment with the Forestry Department at Putaruru. A few weeks ago the call of the city bade him visit Wellington where he started a little paperchase which has landed him another term of reformative detention—for a period of two years.
