MAY RUN ON

Paganelli Gives Promise

(From "N.Z. Truth's" Special Auckland Rep.) It did, not take Paganelli long to make good m the new season. LIIS record to date is two starts for one win and a second. He saddled up particularly well on the, second day at Ellerslie. With nine stone to carry, he never shirked the task set when "Show" Morris asked him to do his best at the right end. . Though favorite, the son of Lord Quex returned quite a good price to his supporters, and it does not look as if it will be the last dividend he will return. ■■■*■•. He is noticed among entries ahead for events of a longer distance than six furlongs, and on his most recent display there is every reason to expect him to go a mile safely. For«his number of starts as a three and #ur-year-old, Paganelli can boast a really good ; record so far as gaining place-money is concerned. Still he is no light boy's horse and may always do best with a man on top. If punters will only wait for Paganelli to start before putting m all will be well. It is certain Mick Carroll's charge can be depended upon to give them a great run for their money.

Pedestal, the half-brother to Commendation, will make his first appearance at Feilding all going well.
