TTHB opportunity has . been taken ..to 1 point out to "N.Z. Truth" by outside patrons at .Ellerslie that something more should be . done for them m the matter of gaining a, better glimpse of the races. : It cannot be denied that the request is only reasonable. It is going to be no easy matter for the club to : tackle, though -it seems something m the line of improvement will, have to be thought put if outside pa£r6nage is ' desired. In criticism- over the Mitchelson Cup tangle, it was freely stated ,that m no other town but Auckland would such a riot be possible. . ■; VAt Ellerslie there is what is termed the Leger paddock and stand, which calls for an admittance fee of 5/-, and it is really worth it. . ■•' At Alexandra Park there is a stand adjacent to -the lawn, to which' ladies are admitted free,; but for. the privilege of entrance there a charge ,is made for gentsl AH this, means that both at Ellerslie and Alexandra Park the space left to accommodate the real "outside" public, * ■ . .
