Gentle Knight
p.OBERT HENRY BO YD, Hamilton^ 1\ postmaster, has this much m comr '"irion with John Brown's soul of song and story m that' he is always "marching on!" And he evidently owns a pair of seven-rleague shoes, for he takes big strides. The latest edict is that he is to replace J. C. McCrea as postmaster at Wellington. Hamilton, whilst. glad that R.H.B. is such : an adept m extracting plunis from the Official pie, is really sorry to lose him. But when the lassoo is thrown out for tried men and true, it's a 1 case of Boyel packing his grips again! , Morrinsville, Thames and Hamilton have known and liked him for brief seasons m succession. , If you ever transact business with him you would probably come away thinking: "Here, indeed, after much dilifiont search have I found 'a perfect gentle knight' of the public service." Thrice happy and rightly happy is the man who is rated high m the esteem of his department, his public, and a goodly company of friends.
