(By Cable.— From "N.Z. Truth's" Special Sydney Representative.) THE return bout between Billy McAlister, Australian bantam eham--1 pion, and the American, Charlie von Reeden, provided a wonderful battle at the Stadium on Saturday night. In the previous meeting, von Reeden stopped McAlister. , , This trip, "Mac" out-boxed the American m the early rounds and had him staggering at times. Before eight were gone Charlie was bleeding at the nose, and his left eye was almost closed. Then the surprise came. McAlister tired and von Reeden came strong. Forcing m a remarkable fashion, he carried everything before him and completely overwhelmed Mac's boxing. .... . His attack was so persistent that Billy wilted before It and did not win a single point In the last five sessions. .•__.,■_. The verdict went to the American for his amazing finish. He weighed 8.5J4 and McAlister 8.5%.
