FALSE ALARMS

The Baby Austin With several new "baby" cars coming on the market, it was inevitable that rumors should arise regarding th*e future of the Austin "7." IT has been stated that radical changes m design are under, consideration. This statement, is entirely without foundation, arid prospective Austin owners' can rest assured that no important change: is being made. In fact; the car to-day is practically identical with the one produced six years ago. During this, long period tens of thousands have been sold, and have ! given performances which- cannot be too highly praised. . It is quite evident, therefore, that the design, has proved its merit, .and the Austin Motor Company are the wrong people to make a mistake new, after, having fought their way to prosperity during the long lean years following the' war, when it w*as "touch and go" whether they would survive.
