Boxers Bride
\7OUNG and pretty, with a mass of I curly brown bobbed hair, she is the essence of vivacity and feminine charm. Tom Heeney, her husky husband, is as much her hero as he is the idol of his home land, but it is hot too much to say that his wife has already advanced far alpng the road of Dominionwide popularity. Mrs. Heeney is a New Yorker and toftfore her romantic marriage was Miss Marion Dunn. Women m America* attend boxing matches more than they do m New Zealand, and Tom's bride was by no means unfamiliar with the sport when first ehe met the New Zealander, the second day after- his arrival m the States. That was the dawn of their romance, and thereafter there was no greater battler on behalf of the New Zealand contestant for the wbrld's championship than the little lady who later became Mrs. Heeney. And now she is having a look round and getting acquainted. She is delighted with all she has seen and thinks New Zealand is "some country." Her happy smile makes her popular wherever she goes and the women have described her as charming. Could this vivacious little lady from America have greater praise? The approval of the fair sex is proof enough of her charm.
