Making His Mark
can understand a man thinking \J of retirement and all its joys after twenty 'years' hard work. But when that same person regards twenty years' service • dust as experience — well, we can't help thinking he has a very courageous heart. For our example ive take W. J. Marks, who, for the past twenty years, has been manager of the Auckland Meat Company. lie has just accepted a position— and it's a good one — with W. and R. Fletcher, Ltd., whose premises also adorn the Queen City. Marks is one. of -those men our American brethren refer to as "live wires." He does not let th© verdure green grow under his pedal extremities. Tet, withal, he's a very human jnortal. A good man to know.
