JT is a long time now since the "simple little frock" Ifc .'/* was spoken of with any degree of confidence. *%^ One, felt that there was no room for this useful article si,nce the ensemble ruled the world of fashion. , But, although, the latter is just as popular as ever, it is the ensemble with a difference, and the painfully matched costume is a thing of the past. This season little frocks are back, to be worn by themselves with a fur or gay scarf, or with a coat made of- a different material. The day frock with the irregular hemline, which is a tricky garment to weai\ at any time and must be accompanied by thevery smartest thing m hat, gloves, shoes,; and fur, to prevent it looking eccentric, can never be worn with a wrap. .
