AGAIN AT LONG LAST

Casey Gets Another Fight With Purdy Harry Casey has been m New Zealand a long- time now and m all those months he has expressed only two wishes —plenty of fights, and one with Purdy m particular.

IT will be remembered that Casey was brought to New Zealand by the Northern Association to meet Piirdy, and that m a hectic "battle Purdy was ruled the winner — to Casey's disgust.Ever since that night Casey has been awaiting his chance to get. even. But, as he was that night at Auckland, Purdy has been a will o' the wisp, and has always eluded — not Intentionally, but eluded him all the same. A few weeks ago, offered a contest with Purdy by the Manawatu Association, Casey said: "That's the joker I want to meet bad.'' He gets his wish at Palmerston on September 19, and the pair should play to a crowded house: Casey has had a short spell to rid himself of the cold that was bothering him and he will come up fit for his next outing. It la going to be eyes out with Harry and he will iry and' knook the noble Charles out into the timekeeper's lap. As long as he does not land him on the Press table "N.Z. Truth" does not care! Of course, while Casey ls endeavoring to annihilate his ancient enemy, Purdy Will not be acting the part of a silent policeman. Twists and turns, duoks and dodges, allied to a rapier-like straight left and a right that kicks a bit, will stand to Charles. ; He knows something about stopping a left, hook to the commissariat de-partment,-too.

There is going to be any amount of enthusiasm shown over the scrap and the association should come out of it a winner.
