FURNITURE POLISH kti excellent furniture polish is made ** "with equal parts of boiled linseed oil and vinegar. # # • V PIECE of flannel soaked m turpentine will remove all those stubborn stains from tiled hearths, etc. * # # CAW DUST applied with chamois v leather -will give a brilliant polish to cut glassware. # # * ALUMINIUM WARE IEMON pulp and odd pieces of rind will clean aluminium beautifully. Drop the pulp and rind m the vessel with water, boil for a few minutes and then rub with a dish-cloth. Never use soda on aluminium ware. * * .* TWO tablespoons of kerosene added to the warm water will much improve the appearance of linoleum. If kerosene is used, no soap is necessary- * # m . , CLEANING BLINDS TO clean cream blinds, stretch them 1 on a table and rub with powdered bathbrick applied with a piece of flannel. •■ # * * TO restore the color of fa,d.ed mater- .. ials, add a little alum to the last rinse water. •** . ■ • DULL linoleum will be given a new lease of life with a coat of clear varnish. Be certain that the varnish is thoroughly dry before permitting it to be walked on. !
