it with only a fine his luck should be of the best! In the past twelve months the Masterton owner has had six trips to Riccarton and on each occasion he has had his run of seconds. In all, horses carrying his colors have been m the money on eighteen occasions. Three times, by some miracle, he had the winner, but then come to the seconds. They total eleven, while he has had four thirds. Kalos is the most unlucky of unlucky, horses that have figured m racing m recent times. At Riccarton alone he has filled second berth six times, and two other occasions he has run third. . He never runs a bad race and yet strange to say he is always at a good price.
