ONE of these days, your wandering feet may take you to Christchurch, the only City m New Zealand with an English atmosphere: If this should come to .pass, do not forget to see some* of the lively football for which Christchurch is justly famous. You will probably see. a player with a grin like the .rising sun running through his opponents like a hot knife .through butter. That's Jim Low, the mainstay, prop and general support of the Old Boys' football team, senior, of course. In private life, we find "Jim" at the Islington freezing works where, between, discussing football, he does his bit to persau;de the mutton of Canterbury that, living m a butcher's, shep is more congenial* than staying out m a cold paddock. \ ...-. - . If anything is doing jln the Old Boys' Club, you'll find, "Jim" Low very much to the' fore.: 'A good chap and a favorite with the entire populace of Christchurch. \ ,
