Waitanehau looks very fit and * shows a lot of pace between the J fences. He is inclined to be very J carefulover the fences. He wants 1 pushing more, as he has jumping ' ability. ** ' * Blago has come on a lot since com- ■ ing ,to New Plymouth. E. George will - be unlucky if he does not pick up a t race or two. at the Hunt meeting with the son of Depredation. ■ # ■._,#■•#•■ ■ The Antagonist — Generosity gelding is coming forward a lot quicker than one would have anticipated. He should be more than useful later.

Barlow has Rillet running along j nicely. He has also taken up Patrolet, who showed promise at the close of last season. Lochson is. moving along freely 1 and making great progress. Te Monanui will be fit ,to play a prominent part m the forthcoming spring engagements. His stable mates,- TeAtiawa and Miss Mercia, will also be m the limelight.
