NICE HORSE

Look Over Game Carrington's One of the most discussed sires m the country at the present time is the Hurry On horse, Hunting Song. f\NE of the fastest horses of his time w he was injured through breaking away from the boy and putting a foreleg through a bridge. When he came on the market he was secured by Game Carrington and he now stands \at stud at , Makaraka. ' ' Last week "N\Z. • Truth" had a look over the establishment and the trip was worth while. Brought out of his box Hunting Song immediately impressed. He has a wonderful head — great breadth^ between .the eyes — a good strong" neck and massive shoulders. He is nicely coupled up and though, to some, he would appear to fade away when he is back on that is a very moot point. Moving m his yard he is as quick as a cat and every movement betokens speed. It is written all over him. A little further on is another imported horse — Colossus, by Poly- | melus. ; He is a different type altogether and suffers somewhat by comparison, but if he does not get horses that can jump and stay it will be surprising. Hunting Song's list for the coming season: is full and when his stock start racing — this season — it will be difficult to get a mare to him, such will be the demand.
