Anderson, formerly of Dunedin. ,■• In particular, ho has m hls possession much literature concerning the "Wanganui," the last of tho sailing vessels that carried passengers to the Dominion, anu m whioh he came out a* ft boy, The passengers by this vessel arrived m Dunedin puffed up with pride Ifl 1879, because they had taken only eighty-six Am» for the voyage, In Mpite of the supposedly' unlucky fact that there were no fewer than live clergymen on board, one of whom was given to shooting at porpoises. Anderson's homo is notv ln Wellington! but he ls still a great traveller around the Dominion. He has b4en Interested ln many enterprises, m shop coin-taking machines, m health apparatus and other matters. Gold-mining is an interest with him at present. He la also a student of psychic phenomena and poetry.
