BEADED GOWNS NEED BARE _ SHOULDERS
IT is apparent at once that the * frocks pictured hero are something very specially attractive and quite up to the minute so far as style is concerned. Miss Byllye Malcolm posed for the pictures In "N.Z. Truth's" own studio. The point which these photos are intended to stress is the new version of the back m evening dress. \ The prevalence of the V is noticeable, and it is 'worth while noting also' that the round neck is , exceptionally high. A square neck make's its appearance m the sunburn frock at the bottom of the page. Crystal and orange beading form this entire gown. At the immediate right is a handsome gown of white, copper and black, with scalloped hem and above two versions of the neckline, the V being embroidered m multi-colored silks, and the bateau having an inset of heavy silver lace. ' ' In the oval is a frock all of net, embroidered m silver-thread daisies, with tulle panels. The cloak is of brilliant green, with white fox collar.
