Somerville Settle An Afccount :

(From "N.Z. Truth's" Auckland Rep.) Last Saturday saw the second meeting this season, between Somerville and the Saints. DEARING m mind the result of the v previous match, when the Saints inflicted a surprise defeat on the whites — Somerville's only loss so far this season — the supporters of each team turned out m full force to witness the encounter. A game well worth watching resulted and Somerville amply avenged their previous defeat, incidentally making their .position for the championship unassailable. Highfield was more often m action than his vis-a-vis and gave an almost flawless exhibition, being beaten only twice m the match. The use of the wrong side of the stick toy Burnett m blocking a shot, proved expensive. The subsequent penalty bully gave Somerville tHe opening goal of the match.
