Two weeks ago the pair fought and Elliott won on a foul. Much controversy followed that decision with the result that the men were rematched. ' _ , Elliott never left the issue m .doubt. He was an easy target for the Englishman thereafter, and was dropped eight times m the three rounds that the bout lasted before the referee stopped the maS Ne C xt' Friday night at the Leichhardt Stadium, Lachie McDonald, meets Ted Monson. They fight for the middleweight title that. McDonald won from Monson about three months ago. Lachie intends sailing for New Zealand after the bout. 1
