THREE ON END
Kaiti Won In Each O^Starts The moat popular horse with punters m Hastings last week was undoubtedly Kaiti. DUNTERS like to see good horses— * horses like Gloaming and I/imerick — but when It comes to betting the great performer is not much use. His prices are always teo cramped to be of any benefit to the bettor. Primarily the punter likes the horse that can, gallop faster than any other, but he is only a secondary consideration with them, when it comes to the horse that can, gallop and win them nioneyi . I Under such a heading came Kaiti, i which raced" three days at Hastings | last week.- i •He waa the favorite m each of his races, but, though each race saw his price getting ■smaller, the public did not mind— he ; was winning, that was the main thing. Not one of the races found his supporters uneasy,- for from the barrierrise it was evident the favorite had it m his keeping?, and at the finish he won comfortably. They were three nice, easy rides for Roy Reed. . . ■ ■ . v • ■ • . ... . ■
