Going to the' far bend, Grand* light joined Hlhkler in the lead, while Francis de Oro dropped back. Then, coming to the head of the straight, Sonoma Child moved up to the leaders. Taking charge a little further on, he came on to win like a high-class youngster. * . * • . Down the lane, Wrackler and Wrackeen made brave efforts, but neither could overhaul either Sonoma Child; or Grandlight. The first half-mile occupied 1.17.
