longish chin, do beware of that allrevealing Eton crop; it will not suit you. On the contrary, your worst i points will be exaggerated by it. Provided you can afford it, a per- ,s manent wave is a god-send if your hair t is ian k and straight, but should it show \ the sllghtest tendency to wave, en- ' courage lt by puahing it into furrows with your fingers, or, better still buy some setting-combs.
A water wave is quite an easy thing to do at home. Damp the hair, place the combs in the right posi-
" tion, leave them in for an hour and a pretty head will result. Curls are making their appearance on many heads, and the short cut that shows a mop of curls at the back is particularly pretty for the very young girl. Above all, your hair must be well groomed. If it is, then get a good tonic and feed it regularly. Do not spare the brush and comb, wash it regularly, and try using a brilliantine that will give your head a gloss without making it oily.
