NEVER IN DOUBT

(By Cable.— From "N.Z. Truth's"

Special Sydney Rep.)

THE residential featherweight champion — m the absence of Billy Grime— Tommy Barber, 8.13, punched his way to an easy win over the* frail-looking Jack Emmerton, 9.1, at the Sydney Stadium on Monday night.

Emmerton never looked like a winner against Barber's forceful hitting, and was on the floor three times before the finish.

He struck his head heavily after the third knock-down m the eleventh and the referee immediately intervened.

Barber had previously outpointed Emmerton and as a result of his second win is to face the newly-arrived English feather, Johnny Curley, early m the New Year.
