MURDERED
THERE is poor consolation m the 1 philosophy of the fatalist, that the death of poor Allan Cornall was but "a trick of Fate." Everything is. . The man who was murdered had "not an enemy m the world." Yet that wretched oreature on murder bent, was prepared to send any number of men to the grave m order to make sure of getting one >n particular. Anybody at all might have taken a drink from that bottle of death. The man who had no enemy m the world died. He could not have been the man for whom the death was planned.
